You see some beached whales and some fine cat fish on on those cruises. Laughing

I took one 3 years ago. It was lots of fun. Carnival is cost effective, I am not in John B's league where I can sail on the Queen Mary.

Is that a cocktail waitress you're talking about. Go get them "Tiger". Laughing

The cost of drinks does catch up to you when you are disembarking the vessel at homeport. Laughing

you got that right, Carnival is very cost effective, we were supposed to visit Ocho Rios and Grand Cayman, we never reached, the Captain said that they were experiencing tech difficulties.  He turned back, the only place we saw was Nassau, and that was it.  Lots of persons on board were mad.  All they gave back was $75.  per person.

Nothing like a good cruise. Lotsa food everywhere, free entertainment and the dinners are outrageous. The only thing you pay is for drinks and housekeeping gratuity.

Which Carnival vessel were you on?

I only dressed up for the captain's dinner ... but I ate like a pig every night. I stopped at Puerto Rico, Tortola and the US VI. here's two of my flicks.

Did you have a cocktail in your hand and stand at the stern of the boat and think ... if I jumped off this vessel, would anyone even know? I did. Laughing

There is nothing better than a great cruise where you get wined and dined.

I'd love to take people out on my lil boat at sunset and prepare them a meal and serve wine for a nice $$$. Heck you could pay $80 for a nice meal for 2 plus some wine at a fancy restaurant. I'd charge $150 for the cruise plus drinks. The drinks are mandatory for a successful cruise. Laughing

I thought about those peeps with their private decks, they could easily toss their spouses or children overboard.  I think that happened to a couple on their honeymoon sometime last year, the woman disappeared.  The man claimed that she was drunk and fell.

I recall the story. The video is being disputed.

You know they have undercover sea marshalls on those vessels. There's even a brig (jail) for the misbehaving folks down below.

Just think how much terror those terrorists would raise if they took over a party boat. I mean there's more folks on a boat than on a plane.

They search your baggage  for liquor when you leave the US port. Laughing

You can't walk with liqour ... but ... when you go ashore on one of the day trips, buy duty free liquor and try to bring it back to your room. I was allowed to bring my duty free liquor back to my room ... of course I wasn't supposed to indulge in it until we docked in Manhattan but ... who cares. Laughing

Teach call me if you want to go on the Oasis of the Seas of Royal Caribbean...

Carnival is good for a long weekend, not enough pools and too wild a crowd, they are no longer doing their Cougar cruise... too many complaints about people living out their fantasies that are creating PR nightmares for the cruise line...

Nassau skyline.  The only port we docked at.

The much advertised Atlantis resort across the harbour. Didn't visit there.

I was looking for D'urban street. Laughing

The wood carvings are of a good standard and reasonably priced.

Anybody remembered the seaside grape trees in Gy, I had forgotten all about them, hadn't seen one in years.

I went looking for some local food.  I had the conche for the first time.  I was looking for some fresh coconut water, but the vendors only had it in cans.  Not a cane juice or coconut water to be had anywhere.

a local, wanted a topup.

taking in the sun, sand, and sea water.   Laughing Actually I was having a partial pedicure, scraping my heel against the concrete.

I couldn't help myself, I almost laugh out aloud.  'Rent a Dread'   Don't be fooled by the slim look from behind, from the front the blonde looked to be in her early 60s, and the dread looked half her age.

Early the following morning, as one ship leaves another one docks, very brisk business in the winter.

Try the new Royal Caribbean Oasis of the Seas, it's 20 stories high and clocks 24 knots... you'd never feel like you left land at all.

Kyla, either Kwaku was honymooning or he was looking for a bride... fo the next cruise... LOL  Laughing
